A crusty old biker out on a long summer ride in the country pulls up to a tavern in the middle of nowhere, parks his bike and walks inside.
As he passes through the swinging doors, he sees a sign hanging over the bar:
COLD BEER: $2.00
HAMBURGER: $2.25
CHEESEBURGER: $2.50
CHICKEN SANDWICH: $3.50
HAND JOB: $50.00
Checking his wallet to be sure he has the necessary payment, the old biker walks up to the bar and beckons to the exceptionally attractive female bartender who is serving drinks to a couple of sun-wrinkled farmers.
She glides down behind the bar to the ole biker.
"Yes?" she inquires with a wide, knowing smile, "may I help you?"
The ole biker leans over the bar, "I was wondering young lady," he whispers, "are you the one who gives the hand-jobs?"
She looks into his eyes with that wide smile and purrs "Why yes, yes, I sure am".
The ole' biker leans closer and into her left ear whispers softly, "Well, wash your hands real good, cause I want a cheeseburger".

How typical .......
Listening to the news tonight nad I heard the single thing that just blew me out of the water. They were talking about the reorganization of Chrysler and a representative from the local dealer's association. They were talking about the outrage of closing dealers and wanting to let the open market sort it out versus closing dealers. What in the world are they talking about, most of the American automotive industry is taking bailout money BECAUSE they were unable to be efficient nd survive the open market. I stand by the federal government should of let them filed bankruptcy because they were not being competitive. I always thought America was based on being able to be profitable and more lean than your competitive. More lean meaning being able to work with more for less.
But instead we are having the bailouts continue and people are now upset that the government is making people be responsible. Granted they should have been doing this on their own all along, but since they haven't now they are being forced to do so. And now they aren't liking being held accountable for what they do, but since they couldn't make their own way now they are hating being corrected. So it comes down to either be responsible and capable on your own or let us help you.

Sometimes ........
I have addressed this issue previously but this last weekend it has reared its head again.
Thats the fact that despite how we are raised and what we are told growing up, life doesn't always wind up the way you are told it will happen. I was raised being told that we would grow up, parents would grow older. Then eventually we would find someone to love and get married, and spend the rest of our life with them. Well I blew that one out early on when I was alot younger and got divorced after a short marriage. Well now that time has had a chance to disrupt what I was originally taught earlier it disturbs me even more. We were always told our parents would always be there, but now its just not so.
Now that my parents are getting older I can see that my father despite surviving alot of ill health in his later years, may be there physically but he is slowly leaving us mentally. He has to fight harder and harder just to maintain a day to day life. Let alone if you are watching anything that is a mystery or suspense, he is just lost. Not to mention that my older brother is following directly in his footsteps of the way he handles things.
The saddest part of it all is that I fear I will be following in there footsteps, and that really does scare the hell out of me to think I will follow that same path. I have been active and trying to change things, but I'm not sure if I am or if its jsut an illusion of pacifiying myself.

How much more ....
Just found this one ......
Folks please remember this is political satire- NOT a personal attack. But it has tons of truth to it.
Psalm 2008-2012
Obama is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He leadeth me beside the still factories.
He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.
He guideth me in the path of unemployment.
Yea, though I walk thru the valley of the bread line, I shall not go hungry.
Obama has anointed my income with taxes
My expenses runneth over my income
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow all the days of his term.
From hence forth we will live all the days of our lives in a rented home
With an overseas landlord
I am glad I am an American
I am glad that I am free
BUT I wish I was a dog
And Obama just a tree
Today's Quote: "Americans grew tired of being thought to be dumb by the rest of the world, so they went to the polls and removed all doubt."

Sometimes
I was just looking over the web and seeing people griping about the temps and what they want them to be versus what they are now. So I decided to take time to open up the house and get some fresh air in it, aka get rid of day care germs, only to find its a great day out.
Yes it might not be 80 with a beach right down the road or hot enough to go out into the pool. But it feels like its low to mid 60's and with an intermittent breeze. Yeah I would rather be running around barefoot and in shorts, but this is a whole lot nicer than the winter we just came out of a lil bit ago. I mean did y'all forget the sub zero windchills and foot's worth of snow already???? Lets talk about people that are just being ungrateful now.
So here I sit outside in the back swing waiting on a call from a neighbor( need a ladder) and enjoying this beautiful, but breezey, afternoon. If I wasn't being so lazy I would head downstairs and grab the "new" camera and take a pic of the view. OK, so I might do it anyhow- just remember to check back.

What in the world .......
This is the question that constantly comes to the forefront of my mind as I watch the news on a daily basis. Supposedly we have elected our fifth biracial President, but I would say from the sound bites coming out of Washington that he is still on the campaign trail. I mean he is still making sure the proper sound bites come out, and that he is seen the proper way.
But the reality is that he is wasting alot of time and resources by making sure the dog and pony show we call press keep up with him. And if you take time to look worldwide at how President Obama is percieved, he has made America a joke as far as how people percieve our strength and wisdom. America was starting to recover, slowly but surely, then it was wiped out by yet another stymulus plan. So now anyone that has any personal wealth- or clout- is left wondering do we use it to advance or just wait for another stymulus plan. Afterall, both books of Mr Obama advocate socialist ideals but he was elected anyhow.
So now comes the other question further yet, how is it that the man that can write two books for personal gain but never a law is fit to serve as President? Over that his primary advising attorney, lets remember where he comes from. His most famous case was when he was working on behalf of the Cuban government to get Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba. And since then his more recent exploits are on behalf of former detainees of Guitanamo Bay, but now he is advising the President? Does that not ring of almost a mercenary? Someone that just works for the highest bidder and does whatever they want?
Yet he was elected President, despite the heavy leanings towards socialistic ideals and open relations with people that trample human rights for their own benefits. And even more than that he openly admitted it in the inauguration speech his strategy for ANYONE that opposes him. Afterall, look how he has went after those that openly oppose him. They make Rush a public target, let alone others like Beck or Hannity.
So if you see me disappear then you know what happened, I opposed and was put down for it.

Life and Everything
So here I am today fighting with the Coupe again and just in general wondering what to do next and where to go now. I have many things going thru my head including the lack of any type of intimate relation. Let alone about my job future and what to do next.
Because right now thats a huge question on my mind. I am left wondering what exactly to do with myself. I kinda want to try to publish on the web as another friend of mine has been doing some challenges on here and Michy seems to be doing good overall. But I am also left to wonder if my writing skills are good enough to do it in passing as extra money, let alone take it more seriously to work at it hard enough to make real money doing any writing. I love to write and have lots of personal stuff thats on my puters. But just wondering if that transitions over to being good enough for others- let alone publishing. So I'm going to take sometime this week and decide what to do.
Speaking of Michy, I need to also get an unsent letter submission going. I have a few million on the puter, I'm sure at least one will be good enough or presentable enough for a submission. Anyhow, just wanted to check in and let everyone know I wasn't dead.
Also wanted to say hi to all my anonymous fans that are out there. I hope if you call my sister about this one you at least tell her the truth and the whole story.

Random Ramblings
Just a few random thoughts for the day:
- If we drive on a parkway and park in the driveway, then what do you do on a lane?
- If there is a Presidential order- why is it he has to have someone else explain it to him at the press conference?
- If the book that the President wrote that stated he was half black Kenyan and half Hawaiiian, why is it since he has been elected he is now only Black ?????
- Why is the media so blind to the fact that Obama is the fifth President that is biracial, not the first black President
- Has the media lost its ability to be objective in fear of the censorship that was promised by the President in the inaguation speach ?
- Has America lost so much of its ability to think independently that we cna only believe what the press brings to our attention as news?
- If you know that everyone is going thru alot of stress and trauma in a relation, does it make sense to smother them?
- If people have multiple items going on simultaneously, is it fair to try to pigeon hole them to only one type of work at a time?
0- Why is it so hard for people to believe that change starts from the inside and shouldn't always be acted upon until the process has proceeded far enough to be cohesive and have a positive outcome ?
Just a few thoughts for the moment ......
