How much more ....

Well, Sat I spent sometime here at the house working on resurrecting the yard. Not only did we spread and reseed the front portions, we also built a new flowerbed/retaining wall. Let me attach a pic and let you decide .....

Just found this one ......

Folks please remember this is political satire- NOT a personal attack. But it has tons of truth to it.

Psalm 2008-2012

Obama is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He leadeth me beside the still factories.

He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.

He guideth me in the path of unemployment.

Yea, though I walk thru the valley of the bread line, I shall not go hungry.

Obama has anointed my income with taxes

My expenses runneth over my income

Surely, poverty and hard living will follow all the days of his term.

From hence forth we will live all the days of our lives in a rented home

With an overseas landlord

I am glad I am an American

I am glad that I am free

BUT I wish I was a dog

And Obama just a tree

Today's Quote: "Americans grew tired of being thought to be dumb by the rest of the world, so they went to the polls and removed all doubt."

Sometimes

I was just looking over the web and seeing people griping about the temps and what they want them to be versus what they are now. So I decided to take time to open up the house and get some fresh air in it, aka get rid of day care germs, only to find its a great day out.

Yes it might not be 80 with a beach right down the road or hot enough to go out into the pool. But it feels like its low to mid 60's and with an intermittent breeze. Yeah I would rather be running around barefoot and in shorts, but this is a whole lot nicer than the winter we just came out of a lil bit ago. I mean did y'all forget the sub zero windchills and foot's worth of snow already????  Lets talk about people that are just being ungrateful now.

So here I sit outside in the back swing waiting on a call from a neighbor( need a ladder) and enjoying this beautiful, but breezey, afternoon. If I wasn't being so lazy I would head downstairs and grab the "new" camera and take a pic of the view. OK, so I might do it anyhow- just remember to check back.

What in the world .......

This is the question that constantly comes to the forefront of my mind as I watch the news on a daily basis. Supposedly we have elected our fifth biracial President, but I would say from the sound bites coming out of Washington that he is still on the campaign trail. I mean he is still making sure the proper sound bites come out, and that he is seen the proper way.

But the reality is that he is wasting alot of time and resources by making sure the dog and pony show we call press keep up with him. And if you take time to look worldwide at how President Obama is percieved, he has made America a joke as far as how people percieve our strength and wisdom. America was starting to recover, slowly but surely, then it was wiped out by yet another stymulus plan. So now anyone that has any personal wealth- or clout- is left wondering do we use it to advance or just wait for another stymulus plan. Afterall, both books of Mr Obama advocate socialist ideals but he was elected anyhow.

So now comes the other question further yet, how is it that the man that can write two books for personal gain but never a law is fit to serve as President? Over that his primary advising attorney, lets remember where he comes from. His most famous case was when he was working on behalf of the Cuban government to get Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba. And since then his more recent exploits are on behalf of former detainees of Guitanamo Bay, but now he is advising the President? Does that not ring of almost a mercenary? Someone that just works for the highest bidder and does whatever they want?

Yet he was elected President, despite the heavy leanings towards socialistic ideals and open relations with people that trample human rights for their own benefits. And even more than that he openly admitted it in the inauguration speech his strategy for ANYONE that opposes him. Afterall, look how he has went after those that openly oppose him. They make Rush a public target, let alone others like Beck or Hannity.

So if you see me disappear then you know what happened, I opposed and was put down for it.

Life and Everything

So here I am today fighting with the Coupe again and just in general wondering what to do next and where to go now. I have many things going thru my head including the lack of any type of intimate relation. Let alone about my job future and what to do next.

Because right now thats a huge question on my mind. I am left wondering what exactly to do with myself. I kinda want to try to publish on the web as another friend of mine has been doing some challenges on here and Michy seems to be doing good overall. But I am also left to wonder if my writing skills are good enough to do it in passing as extra money, let alone take it more seriously to work at it hard enough to make real money doing any writing. I love to write and have lots of personal stuff thats on my puters. But just wondering if that transitions over to being good enough for others- let alone publishing. So I'm going to take sometime this week and decide what to do.

Speaking of Michy, I need to also get an unsent letter submission going. I have a few million on the puter, I'm sure at least one will be good enough or presentable enough for a submission. Anyhow, just wanted to check in and let everyone know I wasn't dead.

Also wanted to say hi to all my anonymous fans that are out there. I hope if you call my sister about this one you at least tell her the truth and the whole story.

Random Ramblings

Just a few random thoughts for the day:

- If we drive on a parkway and park in the driveway, then what do you do on a lane?

- If there is a Presidential order- why is it he has to have someone else explain it to him at the press conference?

- If the book that the President wrote that stated he was half black Kenyan and half Hawaiiian, why is it since he has been elected he is now only Black ?????

- Why is the media so blind to the fact that Obama is the fifth President that is biracial, not the first black President

- Has the media lost its ability to be objective in fear of the censorship that was promised by the President in the inaguation speach ?

- Has America lost so much of its ability to think independently that we cna only believe what the press brings to our attention as news?

- If you know that everyone is going thru alot of stress and trauma in a relation, does it make sense to smother them?

- If people have multiple items going on simultaneously, is it fair to try to pigeon hole them to only one type of work at a time?

0- Why is it so hard for people to believe that change starts from the inside and shouldn't always be acted upon until the process has proceeded far enough to be cohesive and have a positive outcome ?

Just a few thoughts for the moment ......

Yet another thought- or two

So in comes another round of snow and all I hear from people is complaints about snow and how others don't know how to drive in it. My thought follows along this line, the same ones that complain about how others drive in snow are the same ones I have witnessed that are the most dangerous when there is no snow on the ground. All the same I am used to being told I am a danger to the driving public because people don't understand a driving style. But this goes beyond a driving style, this is just to common sense ability and observing the rules on the road. But overall, central Ohio is still the most dangerous place to drive that I can think of in all the places that I have driven in my life. Ohio drivers are, in general, the most dangerous drivers in my opinion. Not because they're not educated or anything along those lines, but more so because they know the laws and they know how to drive- they just blatantly choose to not do so.

What is a loss or gain?

I'm sitting here thinking about the weekend that I just survived and the schedule for the coming week when something came to mind. I mean things are always changing, thats a given. But I have often heard about progress, but the other portion of that is what do we sacrifice to move forward? I mean I remember growing up and what we used to do for the holiday season overall. It wasn't perfect, but it was not bad either. But now a days, we are always so busy and running so much that often you want the holidays to be done just so you can slow down. I mean you have things that others think are mandatory, but really are optional. I mean lets face reality, no kid needs more than two or three outfits and a few toys. I mean really what child needs dozens of toys and clothes. Its already bad enough that the current generation doesn't understand the true difference between need and want. Let alone to continue to feed the delusion by soothing guilt at Christmas by spending money we don't have to get presents the kids only want because they see it on TV. It just irks me that people wonder why America is in the present state, but continue to do everything in excess. I mean, we are the world's best and worse nation. We are the best as far as overall healthcare and lifestyle. We are the worse as far as just abusing everything by using it to the excess. I know I'm only adding to the whine of it all, but, maybe after we finish falling finanically will we as a nation see the light.

Random Thoughts

So here I sit, wondering just what is really going on. I mean lets put it this way, do you ever think about the big picture and what we know that the government doesn't want us to know? I mean the more research I do on the web, the more I see we are getting ready to repeat history- again. Meaning the last time we were in this situation was quite a few years ago. Hoover was dealing with the first round of Black Monday, and the nation voted for change in the name of Mr Roosevelt. What he did was doubled down on what Hoover started.

That wound up being a great short term fix, but not something that would last. That also started the trend that has now spread to the masses. And that is to spend more than what we have, afterall- look at our national debt and tell me that it hasn't magnified. I mean here we are promising all this money to other nations, some industries, and even to our financial institutions. I mean most of these people and companies are in the spot they are because they have not been efficient or effective in their practices. On one hand the best thing the government could do to rectify the situation is not bail out the industries. At the same time that is also the worst thing they could do for the situation.

But I still feel that they need to make those that ran these companies into the ground, also responsible for there part in it as well. I mean you have companies that were struggling to cut a profit, but the top execs recieved about 10% of the raw income as pay and benefits. I understand paying someone that is effective at their job, but the companies have went down the toilet. So obviously they have not been effective in what they are doing. So lets make them pay for the lack of job performance by helping them realize where they have failed.

It still amazes me to boot that after America voted for change, the first thing that our soon to be president has done is back down from what he said he was going to do when he was campaigning. So between this and the way our government is giving money we don't even have to everyone- how are we supposed to have faith in our government? I mean if O'Bama gets his way and they repeal the law that allows the media to speak freely- that will also limit what we can blog here as well. I know they claim that wont happen, but in fact they will do it- he has already said as much.

So if you look at it from another point of view lets go look at Germany pre World War 2. First thing Hitler did was get elected, then he restricted free speech then he took away guns. Am I the only one seeing a pattern on this one??? I pray I am wrong, but if not then I will do what I have to for survival.

The realization of Taoism

I have been riding a streak of luck lately that has been completely unexpected. It seems that for the last few years I couldn't catch a break in most areas of my life. Yet when I would sometimes apparently get a break, it wound up costing me even more before all was said and done. The longest line has been employment, but so far this occurance has been held at bay.

It used to be I would think that I found a few things that had gone the right way and yet in the end it was vastly to the opposite. My life has been a long line of direction and misdirection. Today has been that way as well, polar opposites and lots of in between all in very little time. But sometimes life is that way for ya. All you can do is let it happen, evaluate- then react after that. And thats what I have been doing as of late. Let life happen, see whats the reality of it and go from there. If you are a frequent reader at all, you know I think this country lost its mind recently. Or at least the electorates did the losing of the mind. At any pace, it was not a good choice. But the future will bear that out for sure.

All the same I have had to rely on the fact that I am a Taoist more than ever before. I know people are used to relying on their religion. And I know I was raised to be that way as well, but life has taught me that the church can't be trusted at all. I am not against religion at all costs, but I do believe there are alot of people that wont be in heaven. That sad fact alone will take many by shock, and I still think there are alot that will show their true colors by the result of where they wind up. But the biggest fact that people need to remember is that in life all that comes around goes around. Just it seems that lately alot has been going on, its made me look back to the past and try to improve what I do for the future.
